Four Package Tiers. One Booking Conversation. Transparent CAD Pricing.

Umrah Packages is the hub page for everything we coordinate out of Canada. Four tiers, published in Canadian dollars, each tied to named hotels rather than vague star counts. Economy land-only starts at $750 CAD and puts you in a 3-star Makkah property such as Nawazi Watheer or Dar Al Eiman Al Khalil with the Nusuk eVisa and Saudi ground transport handled, flights left to you. Gold sits at $1,010 CAD and upgrades to a 4-star hotel such as Elaf Bakkah or Voco Makkah (IHG) with breakfast. All-inclusive from $2,195 CAD bundles return flights across a ten-night itinerary. Platinum reaches $3,299 CAD at Swissotel Al Maqam or Pullman Zamzam Makkah, where the walk to the Mataf is measured in minutes rather than shuttle rides.

Every tier carries the same backbone: Nusuk eVisa processing through the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah portal, a confirmed Makkah hotel block, a Madinah stay, and the full King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) ground transfer. What changes between tiers is proximity, comfort, and whether airfare sits inside the price.

What Actually Sits Inside an Umrah Package

A package is really four moving parts stapled together, and most confusion comes from not knowing which part a price refers to.

The visa is the piece people worry about most and understand least. We file through Nusuk, the official Saudi platform, and the fee appears as its own line on your quote rather than disappearing into a round number. Canadian permanent residents are eligible on a PR card; a Canadian passport is not required, and the eligibility rules are set out in detail on our Umrah visa Canada page.

The accommodation is where most of the money goes. Proximity to the Masjid al-Haram is the single biggest driver of price in Makkah. A 3-star hotel a twenty-minute shuttle ride out costs a fraction of a Clock Tower complex room, and for a first Umrah with young children that trade-off deserves a real conversation rather than an upsell.

The ground transport covers your JED arrival transfer, the intercity leg between Makkah and Madinah on the Haramain High-Speed Railway or by private SAPTCO VIP coach, and the return to the airport. This is prepaid in every tier, which is why nobody in our care stands outside Jeddah arrivals negotiating with a driver at two in the morning.

The flights are either inside the price or outside it. That is the entire difference between land-only and all-inclusive, and it explains why the tier table looks like it jumps.

Types of Umrah Packages Canadians Book

Economy land-only. Chosen by travellers who are comfortable hunting their own fare on Saudia, Turkish Airlines, Emirates, or Qatar Airways and want the Saudi side handled. Cheapest entry point at $750 CAD, set out in full on the economy Umrah packages page.

Gold mid-range. The middle path. A 4-star hotel, breakfast included, still without flights. Popular with couples and repeat pilgrims who know what they want.

All-inclusive. One CAD number covering flights, hotels, transfers, the visa, and meals. Popular with first-timers and anyone booking for parents, because there is nothing left to arrange separately. The full inclusion list sits on the all-inclusive Umrah packages page.

Platinum. Haram-front 5-star, often with a Kaaba view, chosen for milestone trips, for elderly pilgrims who cannot manage a long walk, and for families who want to pray at the Haram without planning each trip as an expedition.

Seasonal variants. Ramadan Umrah packages and December Umrah packages sit on their own pages because their pricing, inventory timing, and hotel logic differ enough to deserve it. Mosque and family parties travelling together are handled separately again under group Umrah packages.

What TICO Registration Means for the Money You Have Already Paid

This is the question nobody asks until something goes wrong, and by then it is too late. Booking a pilgrimage means handing over a deposit months before you travel, often to a company you found through a search result.

As a TICO-registered Ontario travel seller, we operate under the province’s Travel Industry Act. Your deposit sits under provincial consumer protection legislation, and the airfare, hotels, and transfers we contract for must be issued exactly as agreed. An unregistered online reseller offers none of that. If the hotel block never existed, or the price quietly climbs after you have paid, you have no recourse beyond a chargeback attempt.

The practical difference shows up in small things too. A registered operator issues written itemised quotes as a matter of routine, because it has to. That is why our quote lists the Nusuk eVisa fee, the Makkah hotel, the Madinah stay, and the Saudi ground transfer as separate lines instead of one figure.

How Umrah Packages From Canada Actually Work, End to End

Canadian pilgrims usually start with a rough idea and a lot of open questions. Here is the sequence we run, which has not changed much in a decade.

You tell us the departure airport, a travel window, and how many pilgrims. We come back with the four tiers priced against your dates, with the hotels named. You pick a tier, or ask us to build something in between, which is common. Once the tier is settled we file the Nusuk eVisa through the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah portal, confirm your meningococcal ACWY vaccination timing, and book the Rawdah permit slot in the Nusuk app for the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.

With the visa in motion, the Saudi side locks: the Makkah hotel block against your dates, the Madinah stay, the JED arrival transfer, and the intercity leg. If you are travelling with elderly parents we attach airport assistance to the ticket at this point rather than hoping it can be arranged at the counter.

Then you travel. A driver meets you at King Abdulaziz International Airport, your rooms are held, and the return departure is already arranged.

When Ziyarat and the Extras Are Worth Adding

Ziyarat excursions are priced separately rather than folded into the tier, which we think is the honest way to do it. The usual circuit includes the Cave of Hira, Mount Uhud, Quba Mosque, and the Qiblatain Mosque, with a half-day in each city. For a first Umrah they are worth serious consideration; the historical context changes how the rites feel. For a repeat pilgrim on a short stay they may be the first thing to cut.

The same applies to hotel upgrades mid-trip, extra Madinah nights for Arbain, and business-class seating on the Haramain railway. We quote each one as an add-on so the base package price stays comparable against any other operator you are considering.

Cost Guide: What Moves the Number

Four variables account for almost all of the spread between $750 and $3,299 CAD.

Tier and hotel proximity. Walking distance to the Masjid al-Haram is the premium you are actually buying in Makkah.

Season. Ramadan carries a 15 to 20 percent premium. The December school break is the other peak. Off-season travel in the shoulder months is materially cheaper for the same hotel.

Duration. Each additional night adds hotel cost and, on all-inclusive tiers, may change the fare class available.

Occupancy. Quad occupancy carries the lowest per-person rate. Triple sits higher, and double or single supplements are quoted separately. This is why a family of four often pays less per person than a couple.

Whichever combination you land on, the quote arrives in writing within four business hours, itemised in Canadian dollars, before any payment is requested.

Why Choose Us

Why Canadian Pilgrims Choose Us for Umrah Packages

Every price published

Four tiers with real numbers attached, from $750 to $3,299 CAD. You do not fill in a form to discover whether you can afford this trip.

Real hotels, named

We name the property rather than selling a star rating. Dar Al Eiman Al Khalil is not the same experience as Pullman Zamzam Makkah, and the quote says which one you are getting.

Packages that bend

Dates, duration, and hotel tier all move. If you want nine nights instead of seven, or a Madinah-heavy split, the quote is rebuilt around it.

TICO registered

Your deposit is protected under Ontario's Travel Industry Act, and your airfare, hotels, and transfers are issued exactly per contract with no surcharge on arrival.

Visa work included

Nusuk eVisa processing is part of every tier, including the PR-card route that most Canadian agencies will not touch.

National departures

Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Vancouver, and Hamilton, each with the connection built into the itinerary.

How It Works

How Umrah Packages Works, Step by Step

  1. 1

Tell us your city and your dates

Send your departure airport, rough travel window, and the number of pilgrims. Nothing is charged at this stage and no deposit is requested.

  2. 2

    Choose a tier

We lay the four CAD tiers side by side with the actual hotels attached, so you are comparing Nawazi Watheer against Voco Makkah against Swissotel Al Maqam, not vague star ratings.

  3. 3

    Nusuk eVisa filed

Our team files through the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah portal, including for Canadian permanent residents travelling on a PR card, and confirms biometric and vaccination requirements.

  4. 4

    Saudi coordination locked

The Makkah hotel block, the Madinah stay, the JED arrival transfer, and the intercity leg on the Haramain railway or by private coach are all confirmed before you fly.

  5. 5

    Travel and return

You land to a waiting driver, your rooms are held, and the return departure is arranged. Support stays reachable throughout the trip.

Umrah Packages Questions, Answered

What are the main Umrah package tiers available to Canadian pilgrims?

Four tiers. Economy land-only runs $750 to $1,670 CAD for a 3-star Makkah stay without flights. Gold sits at $1,010 to $1,957 CAD for a 4-star hotel with breakfast. All-inclusive runs $2,195 to $2,395 CAD across ten nights with return flights. Platinum reaches $2,595 to $3,299 CAD for a Haram-front 5-star property such as Swissotel Al Maqam.

What star rating hotels are closest to the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah?

The 5-star properties in the Clock Tower complex sit closest, including Swissotel Al Maqam, Pullman Zamzam Makkah, and Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower, several of which offer direct step-free access toward the Haram. Four-star options such as Voco Makkah and Elaf Bakkah are a short walk away, and 3-star economy hotels including Nawazi Watheer are further out with shuttle support.

Can I customise my Umrah package dates, hotel, and duration?

Yes. Packages are flexible rather than fixed-date only. You can shift travel dates, upgrade the Makkah or Madinah hotel, add nights, or rebalance the split between the two cities. Every change is reflected on your written itemised quote before you pay anything.

What does an Umrah package from Canada typically exclude?

Land-only tiers exclude international flights. Across all tiers, personal expenses, most meals outside a stated board arrangement, optional Ziyarat excursions, travel insurance, and the meningococcal ACWY vaccination cost are not included. The Nusuk eVisa fee is listed as its own line so you can see exactly what it costs.

How much does an Umrah package from Canada cost per person?

An Umrah package from Canada costs $750 CAD for a 5-night economy land-only stay up to $3,299 CAD for a 10-night Platinum all-inclusive with return flights. Price moves with tier, season, hotel proximity to the Masjid al-Haram, and duration.

How long should an Umrah trip from Canada be?

Most Canadian pilgrims travel 7 to 12 nights. Under 7 nights the long-haul flight eats too much of the trip, and beyond 12 nights cost climbs without much added benefit unless you are staying for Arbain, the 40-prayer commitment in Madinah, which needs a longer stay by definition.

How do you split nights between Makkah and Madinah?

A common split is four to five nights in Makkah and three to four in Madinah, adjusted for your arrival airport and how tired you expect to be. If you fly into Jeddah we usually start in Makkah; if the routing lands in Madinah we reverse it. The Haramain High-Speed Railway covers the intercity leg in roughly two hours and twenty minutes.

Are Ziyarat excursions included in the package?

Ziyarat is offered as an add-on rather than bundled into the base price, which keeps the headline tier honest. Common stops include the Cave of Hira, Mount Uhud, Quba Mosque, and the Qiblatain Mosque. We quote the excursion separately so you can decide after you see the package cost.

Can I book a package for elderly parents travelling without me?

Yes, and it is a frequent request. We select a hotel with a short level walk to the Haram, arrange airport wheelchair assistance at ticketing rather than on the day, and keep the ground transfers private rather than shared. Mataf-level assistance for Tawaf and Sa'i can be arranged in advance.

What is the difference between booking with you and booking hotels myself?

You can absolutely self-book, and the economy land-only tier exists partly for people who want to. What a package buys is the Nusuk eVisa filing, the Saudi ground transfer, the intercity leg, a hotel block that does not evaporate in peak season, and TICO deposit protection on the money you have already paid.
